This course is conducted by the prominent Wing Chun Master, Si-Fu AUGUSTINE FONG. He will teach you step by step through the complete system of Wing Chun Gung Fu. This course will consist of Si-Fu Fong's instructional videos. Each level can be subscribed to separately with the exception of the instructor's level.

The cost of this course is only $ 450.00 (plus shipping) per level. Upon completion of the 3 levels, call for information on instructor level.

Completion award will be given for each level after successful completion of examination. Students may take their test at any seminar being held in their area or come to Fong's Wing Chun Reunion Seminar, which is hold on the first weekend of May of every year. Students may request each level test three months after they started their study.

The system must be studied in order from first through third level in order to qualify for instructor level course.

The correspondence course students will become a Fong's Wing Chun Gung Fu Federation Regular Member automatically. They will enjoy all rights and privileges as a federation member. A membership certificate will be issued along with the first order of this course. Please enclose 1 passport photos of yourself.

• LEVEL 1:

This level will bring you from fundamental Wing Chun to sticky hand. You will learn: the basic hand form of Wing Chun( Siu Lim Tao), the way of conditioning your hands and body, basic fundamental leg techniques, all necessary development to prepare you for the second level, and the first year’s curriculum. When you finish this first level, you will understand why and how this system works.

• LEVEL 2 :

You will learn the second form of Wing Chun (Chum Kiu), first half of the Wing Chun Dummy Form (Mok Jong), unification of hand and body, advanced footwork, single and double sticky leg (Chi Girk), advanced sticky hands (Chi Sau), regain line and structures, trapping techniques, flowing techniques, closing and leaving your opponent's gaps and the second year’s curriculum. When you complete this level, you should be ready for the third level.

• LEVEL 3 :

You will learn the third form of the Wing Chun system (Biu Gee), the second half of the wooden dummy form (Mok Jong), how to apply techniques for any emergency situation, hands and legs combination, Chin-Na (grabbing / controlling) techniques, take down techniques, ground fighting techniques, glass techniques, the concepts of sparring, street fighting, and the third year’s curriculum.

• INSTRUCTOR LEVEL :

You will learn the two weapon forms of the Wing Chun System: LUK DIM BUNE GWAN (6 1/2 points staff) and BOK JAAM DO (butterfly swords). You will also learn sticky staff (chi qwan), how to teach others effectively, explaining the principles in detail throughout the whole system, conducting classes, and how to operate your own Wing Chun School. (Basic herbal and dit dar treatment for injuries optional).

This material is supplied to teach the Fong's Wing Chun system as an art. Master Fong was born in Macao. At an early age, he showed a keen interest and a remarkable aptitude for the martial arts. He began his formal training at the age of 11 under the renowned Master Ho Kam Ming, a top student of the Wing Chun Grand Master Yip Man. Master Fong trained assiduously and became Master Ho's foremost student. In 1967, Master Fong moved to Kowloon, Hong Kong where he assisted Master Ho in founding a Wing Chun Academy. There, Master Fong trained further and taught the art until 1969 when he immigrated to the United States. Master Fong settled in Tucson, Arizona where he founded his own Wing Chun Academy and established the headquarters for "Fong's Wing Chun Gung-Fu Federation". This association remains devoted to the exact principles of the complete system of Wing Chun Gung-Fu.

In 1989, Master Fong sponsored a visit of his teacher Master Ho to the United States to promote the art of Wing Chun. During this visit a Wing Chun Seminar was held at the Fong's Wing Chun Gung-Fu Federation headquarters. In 1990, Master Fong was appointed the head judge of the Wing Chun committee of the United States. In this capacity, he was responsible for setting up the rules of the Wing Chun Sticky Hands tournament organized by the United States National Chinese Martial Arts Competitions. To promote the Wing Chun system, Master Fong had organized many of martial arts exhibition and written many articles for different martial arts magazines such as Black Belt, Karate, and Inside Kung-Fu. He also had taught many seminars throughout the country. Master Fong had written eight volumes of books about the complete system of Wing Chun Gung-Fu. With the help of The Panther Production Company, he had produced 8 volumes of video cassettes for the Wing Chun System. For many years of hard work, the Fong's Wing Chun Gung-Fu Academy of Tucson is recognized by the Martial Art Society as one of the top Wing Chun Gung-Fu Schools in the nation.
